Panoramic photos!

I just realized that even though we sent an email out to the list, I totally forgot to do a blog post about the panoramic photos taken at the Lady Vile session.  (*UPDATE* – Oops, apparently Alexis mentioned them in the last blog post – oh well, they’re worth a second look. 🙂

I’m having trouble imbedding them here, but go to Andras Frenyo’s site and take a look (there’s even one of the downstairs bar at Dionysus)!  Andras did an absolutely amazing job . . . if you don’t off-hand know what a panoramic photo is, it’s a “long” photo that allows you to scroll the photo a full 360 degrees, giving the 3-D impression that you’re standing in the center of the room.

Pretty damn cool.  Check it out. 🙂

Next Dr. Sketchy’s is Monday, March 9th, with Bambi Galore!

ds14web

This Monday:  Bambi Galore of DC Gurly Show and the DC Libertines! We seem to be filling up quick these days folks, so show up early if you want a good seat. Alexis is no longer blowing through tissue boxes like they’re going out of style, so she’ll be back; we’ll have prizes from Atomic Books and Artist & Craftsman Supply . . . BTW, we’ve been asked what types of prizes are yall interested in? If you’ve got suggestions, send us an email or post a comment below.

So Monday, 7 o’clock!

Recap of Lady Vile’s session on Feb 23rd.

Well, Monday seemed to well enough without Alexis to keep an eye on us.  Nothing caught fire — actually, that’s not true.  Apparently Dionysus’s roof nearly caught fire from a chimney fire next door before the session even started, but we didn’t have anything to do with that so we’re going to assume it doesn’t count.

Lady Vile was stunning, course you should be able to see that.  Special thanks to her, the crew at Dionysus, our sponsors Atomic Books and Artist & Craftsman Supply, and to Bill and Jeff for helping make up for Alexis’s absence (and again to Jeff, for these awesome photos).

I’m pretty sure the two drawings below were the winners of the “How Lady Vile got her name” contest.  (The prizes were sketchbooks from Artist & Craftsman.)

We’ve already got a bunch of sketches emailed to us (some of the best were from the last contest, “Incorporate a chimpanzee attack” 😉 )…we’ll give it a few days for more to come in and then put some up here.

‘Til then, mark your calendars, folks: our next session will be Monday, March 9, with Bambi Galore!
