Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore featuring
Monday, April 8 at The Windup Space
Winter is coming—and so is the most exciting drawing event in all the Seven Kingdoms (or at least in Baltimore)! Just in time for the final season premiere of Game of Thrones, the fabulous Cherie Sweetbottom will be modeling for us as a few characters from the hit series, so come drink, draw, and geek out with us at The Windup Space on Monday the 8th for a chance to win prizes from Blick Art Materials. After all, the night is dark and full of terrors, so we might as well face it and the inevitable deaths of more of our favorite characters with some tipsy art-making!
By the way, Cherie toured nationally with Burlesque is Coming, the only Game of Thrones burlesque tribute officially endorsed by George R. R. Martin and invited to play at his theatre, Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe, New Mexico! Read on for more about our amazing April model:
And check out the highlights from one of Cherie’s previous sessions with us:
“Cherie Sweetbottom, the Ambassador of Skin, is a professionally trained actress who has performed vivid character-driven burlesque all over the U.S. and internationally since 2011. Known for her “hypnotizing” posterior, she is a versatile performer who effortlessly shifts from high-glamour classic burlesque to pop culture inspired nerdlesque, from sultry to silly and poignant to ridiculous. She is an official Naked Girl at Naked Girls Reading DC, producer of DC’s premiere nerdlesque troupe the Evil League of Ecdysiasts (established 2012) and the classic burlesque revue House of Sweetbottom. She was voted DC’s Best Performance Artist first runner-up in the 2016 and 2017 Washington City Paper’s Reader’s Poll and was a finalist for the 2017 New York Burlesque Festival’s Golden Pastie Award for Rear of the Year.”
