Dr. Sketchy’s Baltimore with Ruby Spruce
Thursday, Dec. 16 at Creative Alliance

We’re excited to bring back the fabulous Ruby Spruce, who’s got a bunch of amazing poses and a fun performance in store for you, so grab your sketchbook and take a break from holiday prep to have a couple of drinks and draw with us! And as always, be ready to join in our crazy drawing contests for neat prizes!

Here’s more about our December model:

“Ruby Spruce is the The Attractive Nuisance, using fluid dance moves, humor and a good jiggle to create burlesque that human eyes cannot resist. Sprucie is the oldest and newest member of Baltimore’s longest running burlesque troupe, Gilded Lily Burlesque. While Sprucie can capture your imagination with a lovely classic act with a live band, she specializes in tickling your brain through your nethers by applying lithe dancing to unexpected themes. For six years she taught pole dance, bringing out the inner diva in countless women. In 2016 The Great Burlesque Exposition awarded her Most Humorous for her sidesplittingly sexy Carol Burnett act. Ruby Spruce stuns with evocative imagery and amazing feats of long-limbed hotness!”

A few things to know about our move!

As Creative Alliance will be handling our ticket sales through their website and box office, a service fee will be applied to transactions made online or over the phone and in-person ticket sales made within three hours of the event. You can avoid this fee by purchasing tickets in person at Creative Alliance the day before or earlier (they’re open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Creative Alliance members save on admission (as they do on the variety of other events CA has, including their Saturday morning life drawing), so if you look through their calendar and like what you see, consider becoming a CA member!

Lastly, if you’ve found yourself in a back row at past Sketchy’s sessions, unable to see the model from the waist-down without having to stand, take note: Creative Alliance’s theater is huge, has a slightly higher stage than the Windup’s, and there are no columns or giant speakers between you and the model, so we expect everyone should have a head-to-toe view of the model! You’re also more likely to be able to get a seat at a table. We still encourage you to arrive early for the best seats, and Creative Alliance advises that seats are only held for ticket buyers for 25 minutes after an event starts.
